The parents of this sweet patient gave us permission to share their list of progress that they have seen with their son over the past 6 months. They traveled to Louisiana for two weeks of intensive therapy at PTS.
- He now crawls correctly
- He can now feed himself with utensils
- He now communicates with gestures
- He babbles
- He uses his arms to catch himself when he falls
- He can concentrate for longer amounts of time
- He can sit without support
- He can climb
- He now gives hugs
- He can walk holding on to someone’s hand
- He can use a straw
- He can hold a crayon and make marks on paper
- Improved strength in his hands
- Removes a bib by himself
- Understands how to use the on and off button
- Assists with dressing by giving his arm or leg
- He can stand by himself holding on to something
- Follows some commands
- Grabs objects better with his hands
- Tries to put on socks
- Knows which part of the body all of his clothes go on
- He crosses his legs when sitting
- He can throw with more strength
- Improved biting, chewing and swallowing of foods

Highly recommend. Grace has been here for 2 years! She has leanred more than I could of ever imagined. They love on every kid that walks in this place as if it was their own. They make accommodations for kids with disabilities and give them the skills to shine!

I cannot say enough about how much my family loves Pediatric Therapy Solutions! Ms. Kaci was able to help us tremendously with a pretty serious anxiety problem. If you have been considering occupational, speech, or physical therapy for your child I highly recommend having PTS do an evaluation for you. They truly love their work and the kids. I was choked up with tears telling Kaci goodbye when she discharged us because she changed our lives for the better. I am so grateful to have this wonderful resource in our community.
"For the first time EVER my daughter came out smiling from her first appointment. She has extreme anxiety when it comes to meeting new people, doctors, dentists, therapists etc...she goes in with preconceived notions that it's going to be the most terrible experience in her life. She dreads it all the way until it's time to go in to her first visit. She cries and will even hyperventilate. It takes her a good month or two to get use to a new person and to get use to seeing them every week. She came out of her first appointment with Ms. Leslie and she was smiling and on the way home telling me everything she did and how much she liked it. I cried. And as I'm typing this tears are forming. She's 11 and she has never enjoyed herself before when meeting a new person. I'm so happy you all are helping her and helping my little guy too. I am really excited because I feel like we are right where we need to be and my daughter is finally going to get the help she needs from you and her doctors. Thank you so much."
I have a nephew that goes there. I picked him up from school and brought him for speech therapy. On the way there he was trying to tell me something but he stuttered so badly I couldn't understand him. When I picked him up I was stunned at the difference in his speech. He could talk to me perfectly!

My son receives both speech therapy and occupational therapy at PTS. He loves going to therapy and he loves his therapists! Mrs. Sonja and Mrs. Maria are wonderful speech therapists and have such a warm, calm, yet firm demeanor. I am seeing great improvement in his speech. Mrs. Holly, Ms. Shannon and Mrs. Leslie have helped him improve greatly with their methods as well. He has come so far and I can't wait to see what's next! Thank you Ladies!!!

"This Danielle is one smart lady. I was present at the Autism Support Group led by Sandra Trammell yesterday. Danielle did an amazing presentation on issues that affect our children, especially those on the autism spectrum. My good friend, Holly Bateman, has left her position at Ascension parish schools (occupational therapist) to join Danielle in practice here in Prairieville. These girls are dynamite. If your child is having behavioral issues, I HIGHLY recommend your calling them. Very simple techniques that CAN make ALL the DIFFERENCE!
